Søren Lyng Hansen – Musician & Production Manager
I am a professional musician and production manager with more than 30 years of experience in concert and cultural production, both nationally and internationally. Alongside my work as a performing artist, I have throughout my career taken responsibility for planning, coordinating and delivering concerts, tours and events in close collaboration with venues, cultural institutions, agencies and technical teams.
My work includes contract negotiation, budgeting, production planning and ongoing dialogue with artists, management, technicians and promoters. I have extensive hands-on knowledge of stage production, technical riders, AV solutions and live event execution, and I often act as a key link between the artistic vision, technical requirements and organisational frameworks of a production.
I am accustomed to working in complex production environments with multiple stakeholders and tight schedules, and I place great emphasis on clear communication, realistic planning and professional solutions delivered in an open and respectful manner. My experience ranges from intimate concert formats to larger-scale productions and events with full technical setups.
In parallel with my artistic work, I regularly perform tasks that in practice correspond to the role of a production manager, including:
– booking and production planning
– contracts and agreements
– budgeting and financial overview
– travel and logistics coordination
– collaboration with technicians, crew and organisers
– on-site production and event delivery
I approach cultural production with a deep respect for both the artistic content and the practical realities that support it, and with the understanding that successful events are created through strong collaboration, trust and professional integrity.
